20 Bike Wheel
20 Bike Wheel
The folding technique of mountain bikes is a patented military design and it was initially used to develop full-sized folding bikes for the US Marines and paratroopers for strategic use.
A folding mountain bike is a bit expensive when compared to a non-folding mountain bike. Despite the price-factor, purchasing a foldable bike will be advantageous in every respect. Actually, the manufacturers of folding mountain bicycles have not compromised with the sturdiness or toughness of the bikes in making them foldable (and hence portable).
As regards choices, these days you simply have plenty of choices with manufacturers like Airnimal, Montague launching a great many models that allow easy, convenient loading and unloading. Select from among the many lightweight yet tough bikes, choosing as per your requirement.
Following beneath are descriptions of some top foldable mountain bikes available in the market:
Hummer
Montague-made Hummer is a high-tech folding mountain bike. The Hummer bicycle, designed after full-sized military bikes, has normal wheels with knobby tires and hence it can be used on any terrain. It takes around 30 seconds to fold a Hummer and the folded bicycle measures just 36" x 28" x 12". The folding is accomplished without the use of tools.
The Hummer is essentially lightweight yet it is perfectly tough and durable. Other plus-points of this bicycle are – Shimano precision index shifters for a quick gear change, 24-speed Shimano drive train and a front suspension with a front disk brake.
Paratrooper Mountain Bike
The market-leaders have launched yet another folding mountain bike, the Paratrooper Mountain Bike. A very tough bike, the Paratrooper folds and unfolds in less than 30 seconds. This superb braking power and excellent engineering behind this Montague bike makes it unparalleled for rugged terrains. Montague also markets important accessories like foldable pedals and carrying cases - both hard and soft cases.
Airnimal Rhino
Airnimal Rhino, Airnimal’s first officially launched ‘off-road’ bike is a folding mountain bike. Its 20” wheels and front and rear suspension make it perfect for all terrains.
Giatex Stretching Bike
The Giatex Stretching Bike is based on a new folding concept. In this case, it is not the frame that folds from the middle, rather the steering column and the rear part that are folded down. The folded bike measures about 37 inches.
Bike Fridays
Bike Fridays made by Green Gear Cycling Inc. are revolutionary finds because they are collapsible bikes rather than foldable. The assembling and disassembling takes time, but the new bikes are, performance wise, excellent.

You can buy pegs with a 3/8s axle slot so that you can put them onto it. It is not the wisest of ideas because the axles are weaker and will break. Those type of bikes are not meant to do grinding and stuff on. If you want to start street riding I suggest getting a bmx bike that is built for it and it will come with 3/4in axles that can take that abuse.
Product arrived on-time. Excellent price on Amazon (through Warehouse Deals versus current market price). Fairly easy to install. Have used on aggressive mountain bike trails (mounting method is solid) and on the road. Have also used it to navigate with – this is not going to give you Car GPS functionality. Any route you want to follow you will need to pre-load and use BikeRouteToaster or other application to make a .crs file – some fiddling required – the result is a black line you will need to follow (no map / other roads shown). I used it for Bike to Work week and followed a route through the center of Baltimore on quiet back streets – no problem – 1st time I used the unit out of the box. Happy so far
Quality lol (damn dapanese)
Este fin de semana Minas, en el Parque Rodo, vivirá una jornada de Mountain Bike en pleno corazón de la ciudad.
My gosh, I was in Mexico alone for 7 weeks house-sitting and driving around all alone. Although I was in a small city and did not venture far, except to a city nearby to go to a clinic one day, I felt safe in Mexico. In fact, I really like Mexico and would love to go back. Unfortunately, I have umpteen other destinations I am heading for so a second trip to Mexico will have to wait.
fire boots are for when she get too hot nice!!

Update: DK Front 36H BMX Bike Wheel – 20 Inch – …
This really depends on how far you are going and how much you usually ride. If you're talking about a 10 mile commute, it's not going ot be a really big deal. If you're talking about a 50 mile ride, it will be a significant difference. Terrain will also make a difference; are you going to be climbing big hills? The smaller wheels don't role as smoothly as a standard size bike. Also, the bike is going to weigh more. You also might find that you have a somewhat compromised riding position. With all that said, this is a great option.
Assume that you are looking at a bike wheel with 21 spokes. How many spaces are between the spokes -20, 21 or 22? #riddle #funny #jokes A:21
btw for all you dum shits out there 257 KILOS is 566 pounds. this bike is heavy! THIS is insane bitches!!! That is almost as much weed as I have in my car! Cali Koosh
Well you could always resort to ebay?
You can build a bike from parts but it'd probably be smarter to buy a used bike. I was once given a slightly damaged hardtail frame and built it up from parts I already had plus a few I bought. If I added up the value of all the parts I put on I probably could have sold the parts and bought a similar complete bike for less $$$.
Now I'm giving the bike away so I'm even less inclined to calculate how much it's worth.
If you were building a hardtail I'd say go for it but FS bike frames cost more and a decent shock alone can be costly. Find a 3-4yr. old Cannondale Rush or Prophet or a Specialized FSR XC or Stumpjumper and go ride!
yup, picked up the bike over lunch. The new knobby tires feel completely different! Can't wait to get off work
