Product Description
The 2009 LaserDisc Trail is WTB's answer to All Mountain abuse. It features the 27-millimeter-wide LaserDisc Trail rim, laced with 32 WTB double-butted spokes to LaserDisc Lite hubs. Features: 27mm wide disc-specific I-beam rim All WTB rear wheels come with a skewer except Single Duty Rim Strip included Global Bead System (GBS) - 2 raised bumps on the interior of the rim that keep the tire bead from being pulled away from the hook during heavy lateral loading I-beam - a vertical beam designed to counter spoke loads and provide torsional rigidity Unbendium Bulge - a band of material added to the sidewall of the rim to counter torsional, radial and lateral flex Hub shell is cold forged and fully machined aluminum 6-bolt Rear hubs have 4 sets of stainless steel sealed cartridge bearings. Bearing preload is easily adjustable Power transfer is driven through 6 double-sided pawls, totalling 12 points of engagement
